So far, my usage of MapScript has been nearly exclusively on an iPad.
Not sure if this drives any special features / requirements, other than to be sure everything works well there.

Great to know! The next major release of MapScript will need some extensive testing on iPad since everything is different but development has been exclusively on desktop!
